Earth Friendly Concrete® by Wagners selected for the Wonder Reef Dive Attraction
A new Wharf on the Brisbane River at Pinkenba, Queensland was opened in July 2018. It was built to service the direct berthing of cement clinker ships that carry 35,000 tonnes cargo, as well as other general cargo ships.
BWWA became Australia’s first greenfield public airport to be built in 48 years when it opened in November 2014. The opening also marked a world first – the largest modern geopolymer concrete project containing absolutely NO Portland cement.
Wagners provided some 330 m³ of Earth Friendly Concrete (EFC) for the production of 33 large floor beams that form 3 suspended floor levels in the Global Change Institute (GCI) building at the University of QLD’s St Lucia Campus.
